Trojan Economics is pleased to announce that the applications for the summer 2023 internship program are officially open. The internship program is addressed to recent law graduates or law students in the final year of their studies with a particular interest in Competition Law. The program will accommodate two (2) interns.
Content of the program
During the program, the interns will be given the opportunity, amongst others, to review one of the following topics:
- Competition issues arising in the context of acquisitions of small innovative companies (Killer Acquisitions).
- The European Digital Markets Act (DMA) and the restrictions it places on the operation of digital platforms acting as gatekeepers.
- Class actions in the United Kingdom in the light of recent jurisprudence developments.
- Review of the Competition Appeal Tribunal decision in case No 1433/7/7/22, Dr Liza Lovdahl Gormsen v. Meta Platforms, INC, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Facebook UK Limited.
Further details of the program will be provided to the selected participants before the commencement of the program.
Timeframe
The program will take place from 29/5/2023 until 30/6/2023 and will not be subject to any remuneration. The internship period may be extended.
Eligibility
Eligible to apply and participate are recent law graduates or law students in the final year of their studies.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Knowledge of Competition & Administrative Law
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Fairly good knowledge of MS Word
- Methodology
- Teamwork
- Clarity in communication
