Seminars Terms and Conditions

All seminars provided by Trojan Economics Academy are subject to the following terms and conditions.

Registrations are open before the seminar date or until the maximum number of participants has been reached.

The participant must fill in the complete contact and invoice details during registration.

Seminar registrations cannot be transferred to another person.

Due to the limited number of participants, seminar places will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The fees vary depending on the seminar topic, content, trainer, length and location. Participation fees do not include the legal Value-Added Tax (VAT) in the amount of 19%.

The seminar fees are due for payment with the submission of the registration form. Upon completion of the processing of the payment, registered participants will receive their registration confirmations and invoices.

In order to register for a seminar, participants must pay in full the fee plus the applicable VAT via debit or credit card.

Registration to a seminar will not be possible without prior payment of the fees.

Special discounts apply for 3 or more participants from the same company who register for the same seminar on the same day – details upon request.

Registered participants may cancel their participation in writing.

Trojan Economics Academy will refund the total fee for registrations cancelled at least 7 days (by 17:00 EET) before the seminar date. For registrations cancelled 7 days or less (by 17:00 EET) before the seminar date, the seminar fee remains payable and is non-refundable.

Registered participants who do not show up and do not request cancellation as per above are not eligible for a refund.

Trojan Economics Academy reserves the right to change the date or time of a seminar or postpone or cancel a seminar due to circumstances beyond its control or if the minimum number of participants has not been reached (the minimum number of participants is usually 7) 5 days before the seminar date. In such a case, we will inform participants in good time and offer alternative dates. If the alternative dates are not suitable, we will refund the full amount of the fee.

Trojan Economics Academy will not be liable for any further claims caused by the cancellation.

All seminar material is considered the intellectual property of Trojan Economics Academy or the trainers and is subject to copyright law. No part of the seminar material may be copied, reprinted, electronically processed, reproduced, distributed or made available to third parties, in any form and by any means, without the prior written approval of Trojan Economics Academy or as explicitly permitted by law.

Any enquiries concerning reproduction that may not be covered by the above, should be addressed to Trojan Economics Academy by email: [email protected].

Participation in the seminar is confirmed by a certificate of attendance which will be issued only to participants who have attended at least 75% of the seminar.

For seminars accredited by the Cyprus Bar Association for Lawyers’ Continuous Professional Development (CPD) purposes, a certificate of attendance will be only issued to those participants who have attended 100% of the seminar.

Certificates of attendance are sent in electronic form (PDF file) to eligible participants at least 1 week after completing the seminar.

For seminars approved by the Human Resources Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA), participants are required to complete HRDA forms which we will be sent to them by Trojan Economics Academy after the submission of their registration form. All information required by HRDA must be correct and valid. Once completed, the HRDA forms must be sent to Trojan Economics Academy by email: [email protected]. The completed HRDA forms must be sent prior to the seminar date.

Note that the HRDA subsidy is not a discount; therefore, the applicable VAT is calculated on the initial amount of the fee before subtracting the subsidy.

The seminar participants consent to the use of photos and/or videos taken at the seminars, in accordance with Trojan Economics Academy Privacy Statement.

Trojan Economics Academy may use photos and/or videos to support its objectives, i.e., for the internal assessment / evaluation of its seminars, and for the potential training purposes of Trojan Economics Academy staff and/or of prospective speakers / trainers of its seminars. In addition, Trojan Economics Academy may use photos and/or videos to enhance the awareness of its seminars.

If a participant no longer consents to such publications in future, he or she may withdraw consent to Trojan Economics Academy in writing at any time.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid or illegal wholly or partially, for any reason, any illegality or invalidity shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. Trojan Economics Academy shall retroactively replace the invalid or illegal provisions with other provisions of which the content and intent approach as closely as possible the provision or provisions that have become invalid or illegal.
