Trojan Economics is a dynamic consulting firm specializing in competition economics. We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Executive Secretary who will play an integral role in managing our office operations and enhancing our presence on social media platforms.

Position Summary:

The Executive Secretary will be the cornerstone of our consulting team, providing essential administrative support while also spearheading our social media outreach. The successful candidate will combine traditional secretarial skills with a flair for social media strategy to engage our audience and amplify our brand’s voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, preparing reports, answering phones, and organizing documents.
  • Draft and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
  • Manage, coordinate, and maintain the executives’ schedules to optimize time efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system to ensure quick and easy access to critical information.
  • Provide a professional first point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
  • Monitor analytics to identify viable ideas and strategies for audience engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing and sales, to ensure brand consistency.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures).

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques.
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Competence in using virtual meeting software such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams for coordinating remote meetings and webinars.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations is preferred.
  • Certification in secretarial work, office administration, or relevant training is advantageous.
